Day 2 - Friday 2.9

Tracking my time: Today I am just as busy as yesterday. I didn't wake up until 9 this morning and managed to get some laundry on before heading off to classes. I had back to back classes I stopped for a bit of Jamba Juice before continuing my way to work. I had hoped to get some homework done this morning but because I slept in, I didn't have enough time. After work, I met up with a friend at the BYU Museum of Art. One of my friend's had told me of a super cool exhibit, so I felt I had to go. I could only stay for an hour. I am a photographer for the communications section of BYUSA. With Valentines day next week, there are a fair few romantic themed events happening. I volunteered to photograph the Girl's Choice dance that took place at the Springville Museum of Art. It is never a dull moment in that building with the beautiful Spanish architecture! Then it was back home before hitting the books. I have a fair bit to do, and I hope I'll be ready for my midterms next week.

Day 24 Sunday 3.4

I didn't meditate today. I was able to relax though. I feel myself getting sick because I had a lot of late nights last week. I slept after going to only an hour of church. Then I did a puzzle with my roommates. It was nice. We put on Harry Potter and relaxed. I haven't had a day like this in forever.

Day 23 Saturday 3.3

I have had three days in a row where I am taking time to meditate. I find that throughout the day I am more mindful of my emotions. I am also more ware of my thoughts and am becoming able to recognize when the stressful thoughts are coming and I can stop them before they start. I am also more aware of my breath over the course of the day. It's interesting.

Day 26 3.5

Today was another day that was not as productive as I would have liked. From 6:00pm onwards, I had to prep for FHE. I am an FHE mom and needed to give some people a ride to the event we were going to. It took longer to get there than I thought. I also had a few meetings earlier in the day that took a lot more time than I thought. So all in all, I got a lot done but none of it was homework.
