Day 4 - Sunday 2.12

Tracking Time: I was very busy this Sunday, but then that seems to be the trend of my life. Church church starts at 9, so I woke up around 8:20 and scrambled to get ready in time before we had to leave. I got a new calling to me an FHE group leader, so this week I was sustained and set apart. I also found out that my co-chair is getting a new calling and won't be at my first FHE tomorrow night.  I felt very overwhelmed! I have a million things to do this week. When I feel that my to-do list is longer than I think possible to complete, I need to take a moment and grab a few deep breaths and remind myself not to overthink. Due to my Saturday not being very productive, I had quite a long lost of chores to complete. So, after church, I set about doing them. I was able to get my laundry done, and make, frost, and deliver cookies to the people in my FHE group so I could introduce myself. I also cleaned my room which was very needed. I had homework to do, but I opted to save the sabbath for other things and wake up early on Monday. My classes don't start until almost 11 so I would have plenty of time. I find I am prioritizing pending time with my friends. I need to find the balance between keeping/cultivating those relationships and getting the things I need to do done.

Day 24 Sunday 3.4

I didn't meditate today. I was able to relax though. I feel myself getting sick because I had a lot of late nights last week. I slept after going to only an hour of church. Then I did a puzzle with my roommates. It was nice. We put on Harry Potter and relaxed. I haven't had a day like this in forever.

Day 23 Saturday 3.3

I have had three days in a row where I am taking time to meditate. I find that throughout the day I am more mindful of my emotions. I am also more ware of my thoughts and am becoming able to recognize when the stressful thoughts are coming and I can stop them before they start. I am also more aware of my breath over the course of the day. It's interesting.

Day 26 3.5

Today was another day that was not as productive as I would have liked. From 6:00pm onwards, I had to prep for FHE. I am an FHE mom and needed to give some people a ride to the event we were going to. It took longer to get there than I thought. I also had a few meetings earlier in the day that took a lot more time than I thought. So all in all, I got a lot done but none of it was homework.
